6/2/07 - 9th Wave and SPF-4 in CT

It was a hot afternoon with even hotter music as two NESMA bands kicked off the festivities at the second annual Hot Rod Riot (put on by The Murdercycles) in Manchester, CT.  Ninth Wave and The SPF-4 both played great sets of scorching surf instros that had all the gear heads (and assorted NESMA folk)  in attendance hanging ten. Later in the day the rock-a-billy bands took over the stage.  Surf, rock-a-billy and hot-rods all seem to go together well. Throw in some hot sun and a few cold beverages of your choice and it doesn't get much better!
